Resilience, Inclusiveness and Development: Towards a Just Green and Digital Transition of Greek Regions

The project focuses on (a) the assessment of the current situation in Greece, (b) the recording of opinions, attitudes, value orientations and behavioral predispositions of both the general public and individual social groups, (c) the provision of technological solutions and tools that support policy proposals (data driven policy making), and (d) in the contents of public policies regarding the positive and negative effects of transitions: on individuals and households in businesses and the economy in general in processes of planning and implementation of sectoral policies, so that the digital transformation and the green transition to take place in terms of equity, resilience, sustainable development and social inclusion.

The main objectives of the project concern the following:

1. Collection and analysis of primary data
2. Processing of secondary data
3. Utilization of common research infrastructures
4. Mapping areas that are cumulatively or differentially affected or benefited by the green transition and digital transformation
5. Identification of occupational groups and economic sectors that are cumulatively or differentially affected or benefited by the dual transition
6. Detection of education and training needs in digital and green skills
7. Creation of an observatory of key indicators of the Green and Digital Transition and convergence with UN Sustainable Development Goals
8. Creating a digital portal with cartographic and other data to help take targeted public policy measures
9. Drafting public policy proposals for the green and digital transition
10. Efficient and effective dissemination of research results
