REG-PUBLIC

“REG-PUBLIC” – Architecture and management of public administration base registries: Sharing know-how for digital transformation and increased transparency.

The International Hellenic University with funding from the EEA Grants – Bilateral Fund is implementing the project “REG-PUBLIC”, aiming at transferring know-how on key public sector base registers, with a focus on understanding the organisation and governance of registers and the data they store/transport, management, architecture, technology, use of APIs and data access protocols, privacy rules and standardisation using data standards and processes as applied in the public sector. The main objective of the project is to study the Norwegian model of design, operation and management of the base registries adopted and implemented in the country, in order to propose a set of interventions at technical, administrative and institutional level for Greece.

For the implementation of the project, the team of the Digital Organisations Research Group (DORG) from the International Hellenic University is collaborating with the Norwegean agency DigDir and the  Brønnøysund Register Centre of Norway.
