Project short description – Background

This project is undertaken with the view to standardize process descriptions in the Greek Public Sector according to Core Public Service Vocabulary Application Profile (CPSV-AP) [1] . This EU standard facilitates semantic coherence among processes (i.e. services) offered within the EU for EU major stakeholders like citizens, Public Administrations/Agencies, Businesses/companies etc.

Furthermore, this project aims at developing a standard way of graphically representing to major stakeholders (i.e. Public Agencies –Pas, citizens) these processes. For this reason, the latest version of the most commonly used and widely accepted specification in the area of describing and graphically representing business processes is to be used. That is, we shall utilize Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) [2] specification.
